For the many unfortunate individuals not quick enough to snag a code from Twitter over the past week, the time has come for the chance to finally get your hands on the multiplayer beta for Bungie’s Halo: Reach. Now, this is in no way a critique, seeing as how it’s still in all of its beta-filled goodness. That just wouldn’t be fair, right? This, however, is simply one man informing you why y... more. -

There have been innumerable previews written on the game already, so I won't toss any more toothpicks into the wood pile. However, I will add gasoline to the fire by relaying the new "Gadgets Trailer" fro... more.

MidEvil Demo

MidEvil has been out for quite a few years now, but Origins 2009 was my first exposure to it. I did not actually play the game, but I have played Zombies!!! and, from what I saw in the demo, that is quite enough experience to know that MidEvil is not much different, for better or for worse. Players lay down tiles at the beginning of their turns, then roll a six-sider to determine movement.... more.

This afternoon I watched a demo of Android, the futuristic detective game from Fantasy Flight Games. In this game, players get to choose a character whose sole mission is to uncover a sneaky murderer and proving the innocence of a friend by tracking down leads and unearthing a larger conspiracy. Android focuses heavily on story and has a distinct film noir style. Think of it as a spiritual ... more.
