Hey, folks. This week’s episode brings you an in-depth, and oft meandering, discussion of what it means to be a geek and a gamer. We struggle to define the limits of geekiness, as well as debate which games we ought to focus on so that we don’t exclude people from our conversations.
And, as always, we’re giving away some free crap.
This week’s Geeks. Games. Beer. Challenge asks you to create a witty (and probably punny) name for a D&D tavern. Some of our examples include the Frothy Wench and the Dank Dungeon. You can send your submissions to podcasts@game-journal.com. This week we’re also accepting submissions from Twitter and Facebook, so that means you should follow gamejournal on Twitter and friend Game Journal on Facebook. Profound, eh? This week’s winner will receive a collector’s edition Hellboy VS. card pack. The pack includes two pre-constructed decks, a rules book, some counters, and a bunch of other neat things.
Enjoy the show!
